Katherine Marie Heigl was born in Washington, DC on November 24, 1978, to Nancy and Paul Heigl. A short time afterwards the family moved to New Canaan, Connecticut, where Katherine was to spend the majority of her childhood. The youngest member of her family, Katherine or ‘Katie” as she nicknamed, has two elder siblings, John and Mag. Tragically, her older brother Jason died in 1986 of brain injuries suffered in car accident.
Katherine was fist hurt into the limelight as a child model. An aunt, visiting the family in New Canaan, took a number of photographs of her niece then aged nine, in a series of poses to advertise a hair care product she had invented. Upon returning to New York and with permission form Katherine’s parents, she sent the photos to a number of modeling agencies. With in a few weeks Katherine had been signed to Wilhelmina, a renowned international modeling agency. Almost immediately she made her debut in a magazine advertisement and soon followed this with an inaugural television appearance in a national commercial for cheerios breakfast cereal.

Twenty years ago things that were used for house hold work were still traditional such as a broom, a mop, and dust cloth. They were the only cleaning tools. Only a few people had electric refrigerator, vacuum cleaners, or other appliances that people now consider almost a necessity.
Today many people own appliances from the big ones like refrigerators and washing machines to the small ones like electric razors and can openers.
There are two basic kinds of electric appliances those that provide heat and those that provide motion, such as tractors and seeders.
Modern household appliances are refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, electric clocks, electric stoves, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, electric irons, hair dryers, television set, mixers or electric beaters, radios, sewing machines, electric fans and so on.
Children of a rich family usually own computers. If they can play a mathematical game on a home computer connected to a television set. The printer is connected to the computer. Then the printer, fed by information from the diskette of the computer, prints or types out the list a high speed. So the diskette should be carefully filed in a case or a box.

IMPORTANT :
• Never use the appliances if damaged in anyway

LAPIS BENGGALA
The dish is believed to have come to Indonesia during the turn the 20th century. As beef was consumed more than lamb or goat, the lapis Benggala is made out of beef. The word Lapis Benggala is a very interesting mix of Dutch and Malay. “Lapis” form Dutch lapis (fillet) turned into lapis in Malay and Benggala is Malay for Bengal.
Ingredients :
• 500 g beef, mutton or lamb cut into 5 x 7 cm pieces
• 6 shallots
• 3 cloves of garlic
• A slice of ginger
• A slice of galangal 10 g
• 15 cm lemon grass
• 2 tsp roasted trassi
• ¼ ground nutmeg
• 1 tsp salt or to taste
• ½ tsp ground pepper
• 3 Tbs margarine, for stir frying
• 300 ml beef, mutton or lamb broth
• 3 jeruk purut (kaffir lime leaves)
• 3 Tbs sweet soy sauce
• 400 ml thick coconut milk
Method:
1. Grind shallots, garlic, ginger, galangal, lemon grass and trassi into a paste. Then add the meat slices. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Mix and let stand for 20 minutes
2. Heat margarine or butter and add the spiced meat slices. Cook over medium heat until meat changes color.
3. Pour in meat broth and add the lime leaves, sweet soy sauce and coconut milk
4. Continue, cooking until meat is tender
5. Makes 5 serving

DIGITAL CAMERA
The Basic Operation of a Digital Camera
